A graphical element that will speak to customers about your company has to say a lot with little. Coming up with a logo is just as difficult as any of the processes a company has to go through when being created, only that your Custom Logo Design will be constantly viewed and spoke of, hopefully in positive terms.
The symbolism a logo has to reflect needs to be appealing to the public eye. You might fall in love with a design created by you, but take into account that it will be in public scrutiny and in people´s minds representing products or services offered.
The creation of a logo for your company needs to integrate basically 3 elements needed:
• Icon: It is a sign or figure that represents or stands for an object that creates and gives positive qualities to a company in business terms of figurative meaning. A building, someone´s face or the representation of something might be useful.
• The Font: What letters are you going to use for your logo. The font is the typeface you choose for the icon or symbol created. Size & style matters, depending what you are aiming with the conception you may choose how big and what impact you want your letters to have.
• Color Palette: Depending on what line of business you are going to engage in, be very careful choosing what colors may be more appropriate for the logo. Experiment with different mixture of colors to go along in it, choose only a couple, three or maybe four but don’t overdo it, too many colors will not have the impact or corporate respect you might want your company to achieve.
These three elements basically integrate what a logo needs and they all have to come together in harmony and accordance with a corporate philosophy and way of doing business with customers.
For your business brand, your logo needs to communicate the most important aspects of your company. Who you are, what you do and what are you offering that is different from what is out there.
Choosing what logo is appropriate is not an easy step and there are no rules written in stone. Try experimenting with what you feel the public will like and accept. Your personal taste also counts, but think more what the market will be gladder to acknowledge. Remember a company is based on needs and public acceptance.
