Is this Internet Marketing or just regular advertisement online?

As someone who works on Internet Marketing, professional web design and that’s been immersed all of his life in the world of advertisement (I owe to it most of my education and my life… my mother’s been on the business for a while now!),I’ve learned to appreciate good copywriting.  It’s true, many people see evil in modern ads: persuasive text, seductive ideas that linger for days and days, contents designed to generate an emotional response.

… and here’s why:  Marketing is not the kind of investment that should be huge.  You don’t need to spend millions with an agency that will only guarantee regular results (the kind of results that come from framing a campaign within the bounds of traditional media).

You know what you really need?  Stop spending your money without rhyme or reason and find daring ways to promote your products.

Internet Marketing is similar to traditional marketing, but you don’t have a face right in front of you.

I’ve read plenty of books about closing deals, using body language to read your prospect.  These can be useful on many aspects of life but…

… right now, you’re facing an opinion without a face.  (and, no… :) <– smileys do not count…)

What to do, when all the knowledge you acquired while learning about the trade is, to say the least, obsolete?
